Research Coordinator Position

  • We are looking for a motivated person with good social skills and an interest in research to coordinate a study of pregnancy related stress and anxiety


  • This position will be for 3 to 3.5 days per week 


  • Start date June 1/09 (with earlier start date available)


  • This is a great opportunity for a recent university graduate with an interest in psychology, medicine or midwifery related-research.


  • The position included the following activities:

    • data management, tracking and supervised data analysis 
    • education in pregnancy and postpartum related mental health concerns 
    • supervision of undergraduate research assistants
    • coordinating participant recruitment and data entry
    • interactions with an interesting patient group 


  • The research is being conducted through Dr. Fairbrother’s research lab within the Women’s Health Research Institute at BC Women’s Hospital. For more information check out our web site at: www.motherinfantwellness.ca.  


  • BC Women’s Hospital provides a rich learning environment. By working on site, you will have the opportunity to attend talks pertaining to various aspects of women’s reproductive health.
